Although lithium-ion batteries are generally considered safe, there are still fire risks. These problems can be caused, for example, by stacking the batteries too high, damage to the battery, or the use of the wrong charging equipment. To protect against these and other hazards, Naatu\u2019s battery storage system was equipped with a Sinorix NXN fire suppression system that uses environmentally friendly, residue-free agents. The solution uses 140 liters of IG-100 (nitrogen) as the extinguishing agent and Cerberus PRO as the software. The IoT-enabled system combines all aspects of fire protection, from detection to suppression. At the Budy site, this was implemented using a fire alarm control panel with two loops and the corresponding fire suppression map. Two multisensor smoke detectors with Advanced Signal Analysis and a dual-wavelength aspirating smoke detector ensure the earliest possible warning in the event of a potential fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
